Thousand Oaks CA junior Michael Cooper took sixth in the 3-mile boys varsity race in 14:58.7 at the Marmonte League finals at the Peppertree Playfields in Newbury Park, Calif. Cooper helped Thousand Oaks place five scorers in the top 15 and all seven athletes in the top 20 to take second behind Newbury Park CA by a 19-47 margin.
